Thomas W. Bell born c1802 TN died 1876/7 married Susanna Bullen b. c1808 VT d. 1860s. They moved to Smith County about 1849 and settled in the southeast section, moved to Omen (then called Canton) in 1852. He owned a hotel in Omen from the 1850s until he sold it in 1871.     6. Lloyd Alexander Floore "Alex" born 1868 TX died 1954 married 1889 Smith Co, Texas, Mary Amanda Foster born 1866 TX died 1939 Smith Co, Texas, both buried Bradford Cemetery, Troup, Texas. He was a merchant in Troup. Her parents: Anthony & Mary Foster.
    7. Affie Floore born 1870 TX married 1892 Smith Co, Texas, William Harrison Hanson born 1872 Smith Co, Texas, died 1950 Houston, Texas. He was a lawyer in Tyler, was city attorney for four years, was elected county attorney and served 1902-1905. They moved to Houston about 1925. His parents: J. M. & Josephine E. Hanson.

    Sarah C. Bell married 2nd 1866 Smith Co, Texas, Dr. James Madison Hays, son of Judge Thomas J. Hays and Mother Elizabeth Hays, born c1842 TN. They were enumerated on the 1870 census of Parker Co, Texas. They later lived in San Antonio, Texas where James was a physician.

  4. Harriet C. Bell born 1843 TN died 1906 married 1857 Smith Co, Texas, Robert Engledow born 1831 TN died 1901 both buried Troup City Cemetery, Troup, Texas. He ran a store in Omen (then called Canton) from about 1857 to about 1869, then ran the hotel there for his father-in-law until they sold out in 1871. His parents: John and Elizabeth Engledow.
