Aubrey Ball, son of Mary C. Ball. Entered the Army Air Corps, trained at Sheppard Field. Discharged, 1945.

BANE, J. T.
AMM 2/c J. T. Bane, son of Mrs. Florence Bane, husband of former Margie Bokanay. Entered Navy in May, 1941, trained in San Diego, Cal. and Memphis, Tenn. Served in the So. Pacific. Awarded the AP Ribbon with six Battle Stars.

BANE, ROSSIE J.
S 1/c Rossie J. Bane, son of Mrs. Florence Bane, husband of former Lola Shockley. Entered the Navy in 1941, trained in New Orleans, La. and San Diego, Cal. Served in the Marshall Islands and discharged in 1945.

BANE, DELTON J.
S 1/c Delton J. Bane, son of Mrs. Florence Bane, husband of former Joyce Collins. Entered Navy in June, 1942, trained in Corpus Christi, Texas.

T/Sgt. Carl Bane, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Bane, attended school at Murph, Texas. Entered Army in Feb., 1941, trained at Ft. Sill, Okla. and Ft. Bliss, Tex. Served in New Guinea, Admiralties, Australia, Luzon and Manila. Has AP Ribbon with four Bronze Stars, AD, Philippine Lib. Ribbon with two Bronze Stars and Silver Star for Bravery. Discharged.

Pfc. Archie L. Bane, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Bane, attended school at Murph. Entered Army Air Force in April, 1943, trained at Jefferson Bks., Mo. Served in New Caledonia, New Guinea and Dutch East Indies. Received AP Ribbon and Good Conduct Medal.

BM 2/c R. Q. Bane, son of Mr. and, Mrs. J. T. Bane, graduate of Winona H.S. Entered Navy in Oct., 1943, trained in San Diego, Cal. Served in the Marshalls, Philippines, Iwo Jima and Tokvo. Received AP Ribbon with five Bronze Stars and Good Conduct.

BANKSTON, JOHN W.
Pfc. John W. Bankston, son of T. L. Bankston, wife, Harriet M. Stoffel, attended Tyler H.S. Entered Army Air Corps in Aug., 1940, trained at Lowry Field, Colo. Served in England, Africa and Saipan. Discharged and awarded Medal of Honor, Good Conduct, Service Medal, two Bronze Stars, AP and Dist. Unit Badge.

S 1/c Conrad A. Barnes, son of Mrs. W. H. Mullins and husband of former Gennelle Ellison, attended Tyler H.S. Entered the Seabees in Feb., 1942, trained at Camp Peary, Va. and Camp Parks, Cal. Served in Hollandia and Dutch New Guinea. Awarded. the Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon and two Battle Stars.

S 3/c T. J. Barnes, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Barnes, attended Tyler Schools. Entered the Navy in Aug., 1944, trained in San Diego. Discharged in Jan., 1945.

BARRETT, ROYCE L.
T/5 Royce L. Barrett, son of A. C. Barrett, husband of Mauline Ivv. Entered Army in Aug., 1943, trained at Camp Adair, Ore., Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. Served in England, France and Germany. Awarded three Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, ETO Ribbon.

SK 1/c Earl M. Barrett, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Barrett, Troup, husband of former Sallie Anderson, Arp. Attended Troup H.S. Entered Navy in Aug., 1942, trained at Camp Rid. San Diego. Served in New Guinea, Leyte, Borneo, Marshalls, Samor, Pango, Philippines. Has Purple Heart, Bronze Star for Lib. of Philippines, AP with two Stars. Wounded in New Guinea, Sept., 1943. Discharged in Nov., 1945.

BARRON, JOHN C.
Cpl. John C. Barron, grandson of Mrs. Alice Ritch of Texas, attended Salew H.S. Entered Air Corps in 1943, trained at Miami, Fla., Washington, D. C. Served in India and China.

BARRON, FORREST L.
GM 3/c Forrest L. Barron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. Barron, wife, the former Dolores Williams. Attended Tyler Schools. Entered Navy in 1943, trained in San Diego. Served in Dutch Harbor, New Guinea, Attu, Australia and the Aleutian Islands.

BARRON, LOUIE E.
Cpl. Louie E. Barron, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Barron, wife, the former Monettia Bridges, attended Tyler Schools and College of Marshall. Entered Army in 1943, trained at Ft. Bliss, Texas. Served in England, France, Germany, Australia, Belgium and Germany. Wears the ETO Ribbon and Good Conduct Medal.

BARRON, EUGENE
M/Sgt. Eugene Barron, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Barron, wife, the former Mable Barne. Attended Tyler H.S. and entered Army in 1940, trained at Ft. Clark, Texas. Served in New Caledonia, Australia, New Guinea, New Britain. Good Enough and Woodlark Is. Has the Combat Inf. Badge, Good Conduct, AP, three Major Battle Stars and Service before Pearl Harbor. Now discharged.
