T/Sgt Glen A. Barron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Barron, Arp, husband of former Grace Wood, Entered Army in March, 1943, trained at Camp Sibert, Ala. and Camp Swift, Texas. Served in the Philippines on Leyte, Mindanao and Luzon.

BARRON, JAMES W.
S 2/c James Barron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Barron. Entered service in May, 1945, trained in San Diego, Cal.

BARRON, CONE F.
Pvt. Cone F. Barron, son of Mrs. Jennie Barron, husband of former Minnie Morgan. Entered service in Dec., 1943, trained at Camp Sibert, Ala. Served in England, France and Germany. Discharged in 1945.

BARRON, JOE T.
Sgt. Joe T. Barron, son of Mrs. Jennie Barron, attended Tyler Schools. Entered service in Nov., 1942, trained at Sheppard Field, Harlingen AAB, Texas and Alexandria AAF. Killed in 1943 in Gulf of Mexico.

BARRON, CARL, JR.
Cpl. Carl Barron, Jr., son of Carl Brown, wife, the former Doris Brunnes. Entered Army in 1942, trained at Topeka AAF, Topeka, Kan. Served in Germany, France and England.

BARRON, JOE A.
Joe A. Barrons, son of Mrs. Willie Barron, husband of Iva Malloy. Entered Army in Oct., 1940, trained at Ft. Bliss and Ft. Clarke, Texas. Served in New Caledonia. Discharged in Sept., 1945.

BARRON, EARL
Capt. Earl Barron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Barron, wife, the former Eva Smyre. Entered Army in Nov., 1942, trained at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Camp Lee, Va. and Rhode Island. Served at Pueblo Ord. Depot and Ft. Ord, Cal.

BARRON, ELBERT B.
Pvt. Elbert B. Barron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Barron, wife, the former Ruby Pinkerston, attended Tyler Schools. Entered Army in March, 1945, trained at Camp Fannin and Ft. Lewis, Wash.

BARRON, ALTON R.
T/Sgt. Alton R. Barron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Core F. Barron, wife, the former Mary Louise Ferrell. Entered Army in June, 1942, trained at Camp Wallace, Texas, Camp Hulen, Texas and Camp Davis, N.C. Served on Fiji New Guinea, Philippines. Received Good Conduct Meaal, AP Ribbon with one Star, Philippine Liberation Ribbon.

BARRON, BILLIE F.
Pfc. Billie F. Barron, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Barron, wife, the former Marguerite Kelly, attended Tyler Schools. Entered Army in 1944, trained at Camp Wolters and served in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Awarded Good Conduct Medal, ETO Ribbon with three Stars.

F. Barron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Barron, graduate of Lindale School. Entered Air Corps in 1942, trained at Sheppard Field Tex. Served in England. Discharged and awarded six Battle Stars and Bronze Star.

BARTELS, LEWIS E.
S 1/c Lewis E. Bartels, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Bartels, attended Tyler Schools. Entered Navy in Oct., 1944, trained in San Diego and Bainbridge, Md. Served in Hawaii, Marshall Is., Philippines, Okinawa, Samor and Japan.

BASS, MOUZON P-1630
Capt. Bass, son of Mrs. W. M. Bass and husband of former Thelma Reeves. Entered Army in Dec., 1942 and trained at Harvard Univ., Camp Campbell, Ky., Indiantown Gap, Penn. Served in England, France, Belgium and Germany.

BASS, SAMUEL W.
Cpl. Samuel W. Bass, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Bass Entered Army in 1944, trained at Camp Fannin, Texas: Served in Germany, France and England. Awarded the Good Conduct Medal and two Battle Stars.

BASS, WINFRED D.
Pfc. Winfred D. Bass. son of Mr. ard Mrs. S. B. Bass, Flint. Entered Army In 1942, trained at Camp Livingston, Ia. and Carabelle. Fla. Served In Hawaii, Luzon, New Guinea and SW Pacific. Awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Medal and Philippine Lib. Medal. Discharged, 1945.

BASS, JAMES H.
Pfc. James H. Bass, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Bass, Flint. Entered Army in 1944, trained at Camp Wolters and Camp Robinson, Ark. Served in Germany, Austria and Belgium. Awarded Good Conduct Medal.

BASS, WILMER J.
Pfc. Wilmer J. Bass, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Baas, husband of former Lee D. Zema. Cleveland, Ohio. Entered Army in 1941, trained at Camp Bowie and Camp Renning, Ga. Served in. N. Africa and Italy. Awarded Purple Heart and Silver Star. Wounded in Salerno. Discharged in 1945.

BASS, VIRGIL V.
SF 2/c Virgil V. Bass, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Bass, Flint, husband of former Ersula Dockery. Entered the Seabees in 1942, trained in Norfolk, Va. Served in Hawaii, Wake Island, Midway and Dutch Indies. Discharged.

BASS, FLETCHER L.
Cpl. Fletcher L. Bass, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Bass, Noonday, Texas. Attended Tyler and Noonday and entered Amy in the Tank Destroyers. Trained at Camp Hood and Camp Forrest Tenn. Served in France, Belgium, Germany, Czechoslovakia. Wears six Battle Stare plus Pres. Unit, Citation.

BASS, WILLIE H.
Pvt. Willie H. Bass, son of the late Emma Odom and wife the former Floy Dykes. Attended Tyler. Schools and entered Army in March, 1944. Trained at Ft. Bliss and on patrol with Coast Guard in Seattle, Wash. Discharged Oct. 5, 1945.
