Sgt. Donald L. Bearden, son of Mrs. Maureen Bearden, Tyler. Entered Signal Corps in 1943, trained at Camp Kohler, Cal. Served in the Philippines, New Guinea and Manila, Kyto and Japan.

Sgt. Cleve Beal, son of Mrs. A. A. Beal, husband of former Mary Morris, graduated from Tyler H.S. Trained at Ft. Sill, Okla. Served in England, France, and Germany. Awarded ETO Ribbon, five Battle Stars and Good Conduct Medal.

BEASLEY, WOODROW W.
S/Sgt. Woodrow W. Beasley, son of Mr and Mrs. M.G. Beasley, husband of former Allene Johnson. Entered service in 1941, trained at Ft. Sam Houston, Camp Barkeley, Camp Chaffee, Ark. and Camp Campbell, Ky. Served in France. Discharged in Oct., 1945. Awarded Good Conduct, AD and ETO.

BEASLEY, MALON I.
1st Sgt. Malon I. Beasley, son of M. G. Beasley, husband of former Correne Taylor. Entered Army in Oct., 1936, trained at Ft. Francis E. Warren, Wyo. andCamp Wheeler, Ga. Awarded Expert Rifle Medal and Pre-Pearl Harbor Ribbon.

BEDDINGFIELD, FRED D.
MM 2/c Fred D. Beddingfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Beddinjoield, wife, the former Orlena Phillips, graduate of Whitehouse H.S. Entered Navy in 1942, trained in Norfolk Va and Gulfport, Miss. Served in New Caledonia, Russell Island and the Admiralties. Awarded the Good Conduct and AP Ribbon.

S 1/c Edith Lorraine Beggs, daughter of R. 0. Beggs. Entered the WAVES in Sept., 1944, trained at Hunter College, N. Y.

BEGGS, ROBERT K.
Ist Lt. Robert K. Beggs, son of R. 0. Beggs, husband of former Geneva Tisdale. Entered the service in 1942, trained at Eagle Pass AAF and Randolph Field, Texas. Has the Aerial Gunnery and Sharpshooters Medal.

F 2/c Marcus B. Belcher, son of E. M. Belcher, wife, the former Mary Bess Smith. Entered Navy in Feb., 1944, trained in San Diego, Cal. Served in Saipan, Tinian, Guam, Manila, New Caledonia, Iwo Jima, Okinawa and Honshu.

BELLMAN, HERBERT
Sgt. Herbert Bellman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barr Bellman, attended Tyler H.S. Entered the Air Corps, October, 1941, trained at Camp Wolters, Texas, Miami Beach, Fla.; and Louisiana. Served in Belgium and Germany. Awarded Good Conduct Medal.

BENEDICT, VICTOR L.
Cpl. Victor L. Benedict, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Benedict, Tyler, husband of the former Florience Mayshall. Attended Tyler schools. Entered Army Ord., 1943, trained at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md. Served in England, Holland and Germany. Awarded ETO Campaign Ribbon with two Battle Stars.

BENNETT, RICHARD B.

Pvt. Drake Benthall, son of Mrs. Doris Benthall, attended Tyler Schools. Entered the Army in 1944, trained at Baylor University and A & M College.

BERRY, TOMMY J.
ARM 3/c Tommy J. Berry. Entered the Service, 1944, trained in San Diego, Cal., and Beaufort, S.C. and Norfolk, Va.

BETTS, WINSTON
AMM 1/c Winston Betts, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Betts, wife, the former Pauline McDowell. Entered Navv, 1944, trained at AMM School, Chicago, Ill. Served in the Marshall Islands and Caroline Island. Received two Battle Stars, and Good Conduct Medal and Pacific Ribbon. Discharged, Sept., 1945.
