S 2/c Charles (Billie) Bradshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Bradshaw, graduated from Lindale H.S. Entered the Navy in 1945 trained in San Diego, Cal. Served in South Pacific and European Theater.

BRADY, LAWRENCE W.
T/Sgt. Lawrence W. Brady, son of Mrs. Beulah Brady, attended Whitehouse School. Entered service in Sept., 1942, trained in Sheppard Field, Tex.. Tyndol Field, Fla. and Westover Field, Fla. Served with Army Air Force in Italy and Australia. Has Air Modal with OLC. Missing in action Feb. 28, 1945 over Australia.

BRADY, GUY
Cpl. Guy Brady, son of Mrs. Beulah Brady, Whitehouse. Entered the service in Jan., 1944, trained at Camp Hood, Texas and Ft. Meade, Md. Served in Hawaii.

BRANSON, HAROLD D.
SK 3/c Harold D. Branson, son of Mrs. Geo. Battenfield, Tyler, husband of former Blanche Hudson Athens, graduate of Tyler School. Entered Navy in May, 1944, trained in San Diego, Cal. Served on Saipan, aboard the USS Phaon, where he served for 18 mos.

BRASHER, MARION J.
Cpl. Marion J. Brasher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otho Brasher, Kilgore, attended Saline at Camp Wolters. Served in the European Theater in Holland, France and Germany. warded Purple Heart.

BREEDLOVE, JAMES R.
Lt. James R. Breedlove, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Breedlove, husband of former Paula Kent, attended Tyler Schools. Entered service in April, 1943, trained, in Shoppard Field, Texas, Omaha, Neb., LaJunta AAF, Colo. and in Oklahoma City,. Okla. Served on Marianas, Okinawa, Korea, Formoso, Amami and Japan. Has Air Medal and Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon with five Battle Stars.

BRENTS, PRESTON B.
CM 3/c Preston B. Brents, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Brents, Tyler, husband of former Evelyn Barkes, Tyler, attended Tyler Schools. Entered Seabees in April, 1942, trained at Camp Allen, Va. Served on Guadalcanal and Okinawa.

BREWSTER, FRANKLIN
Sgt. Franklin Brewster, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Brewster, attended Tyler Schools. Entered the Paratroopers in Feb., 1948, trained at Camp Mackall, N. C. and Camp Polk, La. Served on Luzon, Leyte, Bantagoo, Province Pai and Manila also in Japan. Awarded Bronze Star, Purple Heart and other honors.

BREWSTER, DAVIS
Cpl. Davis Brewster, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Brewster, attended Tyler H.S. Entered Army Air Force in Oct., 1942, trained in Gulfport, Miss., Long Beach, Cal. and Alliance, Neb. Served in France, Normandy, Holland and Bastogne. Has seven Bronze stars for Major Battles, Pres. Citation, ETO Cam. Ribbon and American Defense Ribbon.

BRIGHT, WILLIAM
1st Lt. William F. Bright, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Bright, Tyler, husband of former Floreine Clarkson, Dallas, graduated from Tyler H.S., Jr. College and Tyler Com. Col. Entered Army In 1042, trained at Fort Worth and San Antonio, Tex. Was accepted from Coast Artillery OCS at Camp Davis, N.C., received Commission, transferred to Trans Corps trained at New Orleans, La. Served in Atlantic & Pacific. Has several Stars and European Theater Ribbon.

BRILEY, AVIEL A.
Pfc. Aviel A. Briley, son of Mr. nd Mrs. W. A. Briley, Tyler; husband of the former Mildred Thedford. Entered the Army, 1943, trained at Camp Abbott, Oregon. Awarded the two MIs and two MOs, and three Rifle Medals. Discharged Oct., 1945.

BRISTOL, BOYD C.
Pvt. Boyd (Connie) Bristol, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank C. Bristol; attended Tyler Schools and entered the Marine Corps, 1944. Trained,at Camp Pendleton, Cal., and Parris Island. Served on Okinawa and Guam. Awarded one Battle Star.

BRISTOL, JERRY N.
Pfc. Jerry N. Bristol. Entered the Marine Corim, Aprii, 1943, trained at Mojave, Santa Ana and Oceanside, Cal.

BRITTON, MELVIN L.
RDM 2/c Melvin L. Britton, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Britton. Entered Navy, Sept., 1942, trained at Great Lakes. Served in the South Pacific. China Sea. Awarded 11 Battle Stars, Presidential Unit Citation. Discharged.

BROUNLOW, CECIL C.
Pfc. Cecil C. Brounlow, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Brounlow; wife, the former Irene Gruver. Entered the Air Corps, May, 1943, trained at Camp Wolters and Chanute Field, Ill. Awarded three Battle Stars. Wounded on Luzon.

BROWN, LAWRENCE DALE
MM I/c Lawrence Dale Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. L.M. Brown, husband of the former Lura Mae Allen. Entered the Navy, Jul 1942, trained at Camp Allen, Camp Perry, Va. and Mare Island, Cal. Served in the South Pacific.

BROWN, HYSON E.
Cpl. Hyson E. Brown, son of Mrs. Jammie N. Brown, attended Lindale H.S. Entered the Army, 1939, trained at Ft. Bliss, El Paso, Texas. Served.on New Caledonia, Australia, New Guinea, Woodlark, New Britain. Awarded AD, AP Ribbon, and four Battle Stars. Wounded Nov., 1944 and Discharged.

BROWN, BROOKS E.
Pvt. Brooks Edell Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Brown, Lindale. Entered the Army, May, 1945, trained at Camp Crowden, Miss. Awarded Rifle Medal.

BROWN, ROBERT J.
Cpl. Robert J. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Brown, wife, the former Joy Burkett. Entered the Army, January, 1945, trained at Camp Hood, and Ft. Meade, Md.

BROWN, TIMOTHY ORAN
MM 1/c Timothy Oran Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Borwn, entered the Navy, 1942; trained at Camp Allen and Camp Peary, Va. Served in the South Pacific.
