MM 1/c Marshall 0. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas 0. Brown. Entered the Navy in April, 1942, trained in Norfolk, Va.; served in Pearl Harbor, Midway, Marshall, Philippines and East Dutch Indies.

Pfc. Earnest Brown, son of Mrs. Shirley 0. Brown, husband of the former Betty Jean Garrett, attended Tyler Schools. Entered the service in 1942, trained with the Army at Camp Wolters, Camp Swift, Texas, Camp Grant, Ill. and Camp Hale, Colo.

Sgt. John W. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed A. Brown, husband of former Alma Preddy. Entered Arm Air Force in 1942, trained at Majors Field, Texas, Ft. logan Colo.; served in England, France, Belgium, Germany. Awarded 2 Pres. Cits., ETO Ribbon with b Battle Stars.

BROWN, JOSEPH E.
S/Sgt. Joseph E. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed A. Brown. Entered the Army Air Force in January, 1941, trained at Ft., Sam Houston, Kelly Field, Harlingen Gunnery School and Hondo Aviation School, Texas; served in India. Awarded Pres. Cit. and 2 Battle Stars.

BROWN, THOMAS B.
Cpl. Thomas Brown, son of Mrs. Etta Brown, graduated from Lindale H. S. and Federal Institute, Tyler. Entered Army Air Corps in 1942, trained at Chanute-Field, MI.; served in New Caledonia, Russells, Solomons, New Guinea and Philippines. Awarded Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Ribbon with six Battle Stars and Good Conduct Medal.

S 1/c T. D. Brown, son. of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Brown, attended Tyler Schools. Entered the Navy in April, 1948, trained in Corpus Christi, Texas; served in Pearl. Harbor, Solomons and in Japan.

Douglas Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin F. Brown, Monday. Entered the Army in 1944, trained at Camp Wolters; served in Hawaii, Saipan, Okinawa and Philippines. Awarded Purple Heart, Bronze Star, two Battle Stars and Good Conduct Medal.

S/Sgt. Marvin F. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin F. Brown, Sr., Noonday. Entered the Army in 1937, trained at Ft. Francis E. Warren, Wyo. and Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo.; served -in Hawaii, New Guinea, Luzon and Philippines. Awarded Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, two Beachhead Medals and four Battle Stars.

BROWN, CHARLES B.
Cpl. Charles B. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Brown, Troup, husband of the former Nelda Burkley. Entered the Marines October, 1943, trained at Camp Elliott, and San Diego, Cal. Served on Pearl Harbor, Tinian, Okinawa and China. Awarded the AP Ribbon with one Battle Star and China Ribbon.

BROWN, CLAUD L.
1st Sgt. Claud L. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Brown, attended Simmons University. Entered the Army, May, 1942, trained at Camp Claiborne, La. Served in the European Theater of Operations. Awarded the Good Conduct Medal, five Campaign Stars, one Bronze Star. Discharged Nov., 1945.

BROWN, WILLIAM L.
SF 3/c William L. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Brown. Entered the Seabees, Jan., 1943, trained at Camp Peary, Va. Served in the South Pacific, Guam, Semole, New Caledonia, and Fiji Island.

BROWNING, HERMAN S.
Cpl. Herman S. Browning, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dexter Browning, husband of the former Lulubelle Hinds. Entered the Army. 1942, trained at Ft. Cluster, Mich., and Camp McCoy, Wisconsin. Served in Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Awarded five Battle Stars, Meritorious Service Unit Citation. Discharged, 1945.

BROWNING, IVEY N.
Sgt. Ivey N. Browning, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dexter Browning, Gresham, Texas. Graduated from Tyler H.S. Entered the Army Air Corns, 1943. trained at Miami Beach, Fla., and Amarillo, Texas. Served in England, France, Belgium and Germany. Has the ETO Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and Meritorious Service Wreath with five Battle Stars.

BROWNING, EDWIN
Pfc. Edwin Browning, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Browning. Entered service, 1940, trained at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. Served with the Army in England, France, and Germany. Discharged. Awarded the Purple Heart, and ETO Ribbon. Wounded in Germany.

Cpl. Noel M. Browning. son of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Browning, graduate of Winona H.S. Entered the Marines, Jan., 1942, trained in San Diego, Cal. Served in the Marshall Islands and Marianas Islands. Awarded the AP Ribbon with three Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal and Pres. Citation.
