Cpl. George E. Broning, son Mary A. Browning, Tyler, husband of the former F??? Nusselwhite, Tyler, attended school in Tyler. Entered Army Air Corps in January, 1943, trained at Kearr?, Utah; served in U.S.A. Awarded Good Conduct Medal.

Sgt. Gordon D. Browning, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Browning, husband of the former Irnia Ruth Parmer. Entered the Air Corps in October, 1942, trained at Perrin Field, Sheppard Field, Texas, Tyndall Field, Panama
City, Fla.

F 1/c Garland E. Browning, son of J. B. Browning, husband of the former Myr??? Burkett, attended Tyler Schools. Entered the Navy in 1943, trained in San Diego, Cal.; served in South Pacific. Awarded 3 Bronze Stars.

BROWNLEE, WILLIAM P-537
Pfc. William L. Brownlee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brownlee. Entered the Marines in 1943, trained in Arkansas, A. & M. Coll???, Parris Island, S. C. and in Oceanside,. Cal.; served on Pearl Harbor.

BROWNLEE, JIM B.
Cpl. Jim B. Brownlee, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Brownlee, Avery, Texas, husband of former Lois Sanders, Tyler. Entered the Army in 1943, trained at Jefferson Barracks, Mo. and Gowen Field, Idaho; served in New Guinea and in the Philippines. Awarded the Purple Heart.

BROYLES, WILLIAM A., JR.
T/Sgt. William A. Broyles, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Broyles. Entered the service in March, 1941, trained at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas and Ft. Monmouth, N. J.; served in England with the Air Force.

BRUBAKER,GEORGE
EM 3/c George Brubaker, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Brubaker, husband of the former Bessie Scogin, graduated from Gary Ind. School. Entered Navy in February, 1944, trained in Great Lages, Ill.; served in the Pacific.

BRUMLEY, THOMAS E.
Pfc. Thomas E. Brumley, son of Mrs. Earl Bell, Troup, husband of the former Harque Ann Nelson, Columbus, Ohio, attended Troup High School. Entered the Army in May, 1941, trained at Camp Roberts Cal. and Tacoma, Wash.; served in South Pacific and Solomon Islands. Awarded three Battle Stars and Good Conduct Medal.

BRYAN, BILLIE L.
Pfc. Billie L. Bryan, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Bryan, husband of former Marie Lozensby. Entered Army Air Corps in February, 1943, trained in Lincoln, Neb. and Burbank, Cal.; served in Daucca and Calcutta, India.

Col. Thomas L. Bryan, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Bryan, husband of former Paula Strother, attended Tyler Schools and West Point. Entered Army in 1925 trained at AFTAC, Orlando, Fla. Served in Hollandia, Biak Island, Morotai, Leyte, Tokyo and Mindoro.

Sgt. B. T. Bryant, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Bryant, Lindale, graduated from Tyler H.S. Entered the Army in Nov., 1944, trained in Sioux Falls, S. D. and Lincoln, Nebraska.

BRYANT, JACK P.
2nd Lt. Jack P. Bryant, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Bryant, Lindale, husband of former Dalores Hadamek. Entered Army Transport Command in 1940, trained at Kelly Field, Love Field, Texas and Morrison Field, Fla. Served in Puerto Rico. Received discharge in Oct., 1945.

BRYANT, ROBERT J.
S 1/c Robert J. Bryant, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Bryant, Lindale, husband of former Connie Jones, attended school at Lindale. Entered Navy in June, 1943, trained in Norman, Okla. and Corpus Christi, Texas. Served in the South Pacific.

BRYANT, WILLIAM D.
Cpl. William D. Bryant, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Bryant, Lindale, graduated at Tyler H.S. and Tyler Junior College. Entered Army Air Corps in Nov., 1942, trained in Greeley, Colo. and New York City. Served in England, France and Germany. Awarded two Unit Citations and six Battle Stars.

BRYANT, CECIL
F 1/c Cecil Bryant, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Bryant, husband of former Lucile Lewis. Entered the Navy in March, 1943, trained in San Diego. Served aboard the USS Izard. Awarded three Battle Stars.

BRYANT, G. T.
F 1/c G. T. Bryant, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Bryant. Entered Army in April, 1944, trained in San Diego. Served in California, was on duty in San Diego.

BRYANT, CHARLES J.
Sgt. Charles J. Bryant, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Bryant, graduated from Van H.S. Entered Army Air Corps in 1942, trained in Hondo and Amarillo, Texas and Detroit, Mich. Served in England. Scotland, Ireland, Germany and France. Has Pres. Unit Citation, ETO with six Battle Stars and Good Conduct Medal.

BRYANT, JAMES A., JR.
S / Sgt. James A. Bryant, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Bryant. Entered the service in July, 1940, trained at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas and Camp McCoy, Wis. Served in England and France. Killed in action in France in Sept., 1944. Awarded Purple Heart posthumously, Expert Combat Medal and Pres. Citation.

BRYANT, LEROY E.
Pvt. Leroy E. Bryant, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Bryant. Entered the service in Sept.. 1944, trained in the Army Air Force at Amarillo AAF, Texas, Lowry Field and La Junta AAF, Colo.
