BUCKNER, MARSHALL F.
T/5 Marshall. F. Buckner, son of Mr. and. Mrs. W. H. Buckner, Lake Arthur, N. M., husband of the former Mary Lynn Hart, Shreveport, La. Entered the Army in June, 1943, trained in Louisiana and Arkansas; served in Ireland, England, France and Germany.

BUDD, MILTON H.
Captain Milton H. Budd, husband of the forme Jean House, Tyler, graduated from High School, Peoria, Ill. Entered the Army Air Corps in January, 1942, trained at Tyler Commercial College Radio School and Fresno, Cal.; served in Africa, Sicily and Italy. Awarded Mediterranean Theater Ribbon.

BUGG, DORACE J.
Cpl. Dorace J. Bugg, husband of the former Miss Lillie Gaiser, attended Tyler H. S. Entered Army in 1943, trained at Camp Hood and Camp Barkeley, Texas.

BUIE, MALCOM R., JR.
Pvt. Malcom R. Buie, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Buie, graduated from Bullard H. S. and Tyler Junior College. Entered the Army in April, 1945, trained at Camp Maxey, Texas, served in Japan.

BUNDY, CHARLES 0.
Cpl. Charles 0. Bundy, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bundy, husband of former Edith Harris, Tyler, attended Lindale Schools. Entered Army in Dec., 1942, trained at Camp Perry, Ohio, Atlanta, Ga.; served in Africa. India, Burma and China. Awarded ETO Ribbon, Asiatic Ribbon, 2 Battle Stars, Good Con. Med. and Victory Ribbon.

BURDEN, EMORY L.
Radioman 2/c Emory L. Burden, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Burden, husband of former Miss Norma Jean Butler. Entered Navy in August, 1943, trained at Corpus Christi; served in Pearl Harbor and Okinawa.

BURK, LYNN S.
Cpl. Lynn S. Burk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clent Burk, Tyler; attended Bullard School. Entered Marines in March, 1943; trained in San Diego and Mojave, Cal.; served in Pearl Harbor, Okinawa and Japan. Awarded Asiatic Pcific Campaign Ribbon and Good Conduct Medal.

Capt. Larkin F. Burkett, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. 0. Burkett, husband of former Lynne Hendrix. Entered Army Air Corps in 1940, trained at Randolph Field Texas and kiami Beach. Fla. Served in Panama Canal and West Indies. Has Good Conduct Medal and American Theater Campaign Medal.

BURKETT, MARSHALL B.
Pfc. Marshall B. Burkett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Burkett, husband of former Mildred DeWitt. Entered the service in March. 1944, trained with the Army at Camp Hood, Texas. Served in France, Belgium and Germany. Has Purple Heart, Combat Inf. Badge and three Battle Stars.

BITRKETT, MARVIN V.
Sgt. Marvin V. Burkett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul R. Burkett, husband of former Jean Dewhes, attended Tyler H.S. Entered Army Air Corps in 1941, trained at Sheppard Field, Fla., Grand Island, Neb. and Seattle, Wash. Served in S. Pacific and Guam. Has Asitic-Pacifle and Good Conduct Medals.

BURKETT. SODDIE G.
M/Sgt. Soddie G. Burkett, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. 0. Burkett, husband of former Adline Burger. Entered Air Corps in 1937. trained at Randolph Field. Served in the Philippines, East Indies and Australia. Received Pacific Campaign Ribbon, one Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal and other honors.

BURLESON, ROBERT L.
1st Lt. Robert L. Burleson, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Burleson, Tyler, husband of former Sally Jo Matthews, Tyler, attended Tyler H.S. Entered Armv Air Corps in 1942, trained at Ellington Field and Midland Air Base. Served in England. Awarded DFC, Air Medal, four OLCs, Battle Stars and Pres. Unit Citation.

BURNES, ELMER J.
Cpl. Elmer J. Burnes, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Burnes, husband of former Ruby Jean Carpenter, attended Tyler Jr. College. Entered Army Air Corps in Sept., 1944, trained'st Amarillo AAF, Lowry Field, Buckingham Field, Ft. Myers, Fla. and Denver, Colo.

Sgt Wayne Burnett, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. 0. Burnett, attended Tyler H.S. Entered the Marines in August, 1948, trained in San Diego, Cal.; Norman, Okla., Newbern, N. C. and Mojave, Cal.

BURNS,CLARK W.
Sgt. Clark W. Bums, son of Mr. and Mrs. 0. D. Burns, Troup, husband of former Marie Wilson, Troup, graduated at Troup H.S. and Federal Inst., Tyler. Entered Army Air Corps in Sept., 1942, trained at Camp Wolters, Majors Field, Greenville and Dodge City, Kansas.

BURNS, JOHN F.
Lt. John F. Burns, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Burns, attended Tyler Jr. College and Texas A&M. Entered the Army in Feb., 1941, trained in Ontario and Stockton, Cal. Also served at Harding Field, Boca Raton, La. Served in Alaska, where he was killed in action in 1942.
