CHRISTIAN, JAMES E.
Cpl. James, E. Christian,,son of J. P. Christian. Entered Army in Dec., 1942, trained at Camp McCoy, Wis., Camp Atterbury, Ind. and Camp Breckenridge, Ky. Served in England, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium. Holland and Australia. Awarded five Battle Stars and ETO Ribbon.

Sgt Ray C. Chumley, son of Mrs. C. H. Chumley, husband of former Marjorie Gray. Entered Army in 1943, trained at Camp Hood, Texas and Ft. Jackson, S. C.

CLANCY, LESTER
Pfc. Lester Clancy, son of Mi. and Mrs. Sam Clancy, husband of former., Mae Bell. Entered Army in 1942, trained at Camp Robinson, Ark., Camp Langdon, N. H. and Camp Hood, Texas. Served on Leyte, Mindanao and S. Pacific. Has Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Ribbon with two Bronze Stars, Lib. of Philippines Ribbon and Good Conduct Ribbon.

CLARK, ALONZO
S I/c Alonzo Clark, son of Mr. a0 Mrs. J. P. Cason, husband of former Trixie Hester, attended Dean School. Entered Navy in Aprilj 1944, trained in San Diego and Oceanside, Cal. Served on Marshalls, Marianas, Philippines and Japan.

F 2/c William F. Clark, son of Mrs. T. Clark, husband of former Mary Anderson. Entered the Navy in 1943, trained in San Diego.

CLARK, PERRY R.
Sgt. Perry R. Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Clark, husband of former Neda Sitz. Entered Army in 1942, trained at Camp Roberts, Cal. and Indiantown Gap, Pa. Served in Scotland, England and France. Has ETO Ribbon, Good Conduct Ribbon, Expert Medal in Rifle Bayonette, Hand Grenade Medal.

CLARK, JOHN NEAL
AMM 1/c John Neal Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Maurice Clark. Entered Naval Air Corps in 1942, trained at Great Lakes, Ill. and Alameda, Cal. Served on Okinawa, Saipan, Tinian, Iwo Jima and the Philippines. Has Purple Heart, Air Medal with three Stars, Asiatic Pacific with five, Battle Stars, Philippine Liberation with two Stars.

Cpl. Roy.E. Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Clark, graduated from Tyler H.S. Entered the Army Air Corps in June, 1944, trained at Sheppard Field. Received Good Conduct Medal.

S 1/c George W. Clark, son of Mrs. Adeline Clark. Entered Navy in 1943 trained at Corpus Christi, Texas and Portland, Ore. Served in So. Pacific and in Honshu, Japan aboard the USS Catskill. Awarded four Ribbons.

Cpl. Chester R. Clark, son of Roy Clark. Entered. the service in Jan., 1942, trained at Sheppard Field, Texas; Bowman Field, Ky. and Loregton Maxton AAF, N. C.

CLARK, COURTNEY R.
Ist Lt. Courtney Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Clark, Tyler, graduated from Troup H.S. Entered Army Air Corps in Dec., 1942, trained at Srawnee, Okla., Ellington Field, Big Spring and El Paso, Tex. Served in N. Solomon, Bismarck Arcbipelago, New Guinea, W. Pacific and Philippines. Has Air Medal with five OLCs, Philippine Lib., Bronze Star, Asiati-Pacific with five Bronze Stars.

CLARK, EDDIE M.
A/S Eddie M. Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Clark, attended Tyler Schools. Entered Navy in Aug., 1945, trained at Camp Luce and San Diego, Cal.

CLARY, SAMUEL R.
S/Sgt. Samuel R. Clary son of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Clary. Entered the service in July, 1941, trained at Camp Grant, Ill., Camp Worden, Wash. and Camp Rucker, Ala. Served with the Army in England, France, Belgium and Germany. Awarded ETO Campaign Ribbon with three Battle Stars and Pre-Pearl Harbor Ribbon.

CLAUD, THOMAS J.
Plt. Sgt. Thomas J. Claud, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. 0. Claud, husband of former Lucille Marshall, graduated from Wells, Texas. Entered Marines in April, 1943, trained in San Diego, Cal. Served on Saipan, Tinian, Tarawa, New Zealand, Hawaii, New Caledonia, Nagasaki, Japan. Awarded Purple Heart, Bronze Star and other honors.

CLEM, CHESTER G.
1st Lt. Chester G. Clem, son of Mrs. Henry Stroud, Jacksonville, Texas, husband of former Margaret McClain. Entered Army Air Corps in 1942, trained at Pine Bluff, Ark. and Waco, Texas; served in England. POW for 19 months. Has ETO Ribbon with one Battle Star and Air Medal.

SF 3/c Earl E. Clem, son of Mrs. Henry Stroud, Jacksonville. Entered the Seabees in 1948, trained at Camp Peary, Va., Gulfport, Miss. and Port Hueneme, Cal. Served in Marshall and Marianas. Awarded Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon with one Battle Star.
